Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Timekeeping System SME who will serve as the central contact for employees and managers using the timekeeping system. You will coordinate with HR and Payroll, maintain system integrity, and support timely payroll processing.

You will audit usage, train users, and implement enhancements while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations across the US, PR, and Canada.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Human Resources, General Business, Computer Systems, or similar discipline.
• 1 year or more experience with timekeeping systems is a plus (preferred).
• 2+ years of hands-on HR experience and policies are required.
• Understand how HR influences business and day-to-day activities.
• Ability to train and influence system users effectively.
• Knowledge of the inter-relationship between timekeeping and payroll services.
• Knowledge of compliance rules for Ryder, federal, state, and local levels (US, Puerto Rico, Canada).
• Knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating timekeeping systems.
• Conduct regular audits of timekeeping for policy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain collaboration with HR and Payroll stakeholders.
• Update and distribute training materials for timekeeping systems.
• Ensure timely system access and training for new users and role transitions.
• Set up proxies to avoid service disruptions during absences.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate stakeholders or vendors.
