Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Timekeeping SME to serve as the central point of contact for employees submitting time and supervisors approving it. You will bridge the gap between the system, its users, HR and Payroll to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

The role includes troubleshooting, system enhancements collaboration, training material updates, and access provisioning for new and existing users, with enforcement of internal policies and CBAs where applicable.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in HR, business, computer systems or similar discipline is required.
• 2+ years of hands-on HR experience is preferred.
• Understanding of HR's role and its influence on business operations is required.
• Ability to train, influence and guide system users effectively is required.
• Knowledge of the link between timekeeping and payroll systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with Workday and ServiceNow, and strong MS Office skills, are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive SME support to employees and managers using timekeeping systems, including navigation, inquiries, and disputes.
• Conduct audits to ensure policy compliance, CBAs, and data integrity within timekeeping systems.
• Maintain strong collaboration with HR and Payroll to stay informed on processes and payroll updates.
• Update and distribute training materials to reflect system changes and regulatory updates.
• Ensure timely access and appropriate training for new users and role changes.
• Set up proxies to ensure uninterrupted service during absences.
