Job summary

Ryder is seeking a timekeeping Systems Specialist to serve as SME for our timekeeping platforms. You will be the central contact for employees and supervisors, ensuring accurate time data and smooth payroll processing across HR and Payroll.

You will troubleshoot issues, guide users, train staff, and collaborate on system enhancements while maintaining policy compliance for US, PR, and Canada and supporting onboarding and access control.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HR, business, or related field.
• 1+ year experience with timekeeping systems preferred.
• 2+ years HR knowledge and policy understanding.
• Strong understanding of how HR influences business and employees.
• Ability to train and influence system users.
• Knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating the timekeeping system, including system navigation, payroll disputes, time-off balances, holiday guidance, and absence management tracking.
• Conduct regular audits of timekeeping usage to ensure policy and regulatory compliance, including access/role validation and CBAs considerations.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with HR and Payroll to ensure timely awareness of processes and updates.
• Update and distribute training materials to reflect system updates and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timely access and training for new users and role changes; complete proxy setups to avoid disruption.
