Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a subject matter expert for our timekeeping systems to serve as the central contact for employees and supervisors.

You will ensure payroll accuracy, coordinate with HR and Payroll, perform system audits, and drive user training and access management across the organization. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, process improvements, and compliance with internal policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in HR, business, CS, or similar.
• 1+ year experience with timekeeping systems preferred.
• 2+ years in HR practices and policies.
• Understand how HR influences business and employees.
• Ability to train and influence day-to-day users of the system.
• Knowledge of the link between timekeeping and payroll.
• Familiarity with Workday and ServiceNow.
• Proficient in MS Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, Access).

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating the timekeeping system.
• Conduct regular audits of timekeeping against policies and CBAs.
• Collaborate with HR and Payroll on updates and disputes.
• Update and distribute training materials for evolving needs.
• Ensure timely system access and training for new users.
• Set up proxies to avoid disruptions during absences.
