Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Timekeeping SME to own and optimize our timekeeping systems. You will serve as the primary contact for employees and supervisors, bridging HR, Payroll, and IT to ensure accurate time capture, compliance, and smooth payroll processing.

You will audit usage, train users, and support system enhancements. You will collaborate with HR and Payroll stakeholders, maintain training materials, manage access for new hires and role changes, and proactively resolve issues to

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in HR, General Business, Computer Systems, or similar discipline.
• 1 year or more in experience with time keeping systems is a plus.
• 2 years or more in two to three years of hands-on experience in HR practices and policies.
• Must understand the role of HR and how it influences the business and its employees.
• Must know how to train and how to influence and persuade system's day-to-day users.
• Knowledge of the inter-relationship between timekeeping and Payroll Services.
• Knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating the timekeeping system(s).
• Conduct regular audits of timekeeping system(s) for policy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with HR and Payroll stakeholders.
• Update and distribute timekeeping training materials.
• Ensure new users and role changes receive timely access and training.
• Complete proxy setups to prevent service disruption during absences.
• Provide user support and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Run and analyze periodic reports to identify data discrepancies.
• Maintain a centralized knowledge repository for QRGs and FAQs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
