Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Manager, 3rd Party Vendor Relationships to lead strategy and day-to-day management of external vendors supporting HR operations. The role partners across HR, Procurement, Finance, and Compliance to optimize performance and drive improvements, with global scope and high visibility.

The position requires 6–8 years in vendor management or HR operations, a Bachelor’s degree, and often an MBA. Travel is modest as needed in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in HR, Business, or related field.
• Advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
• 6–8 years of vendor management or HR operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service delivery from third-party HR vendors, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and policies.
• Develop, implement, and manage service level agreements (SLAs) across financial, operational, and quality metrics.
• Monitor vendor performance through data analysis, reporting, and performance metrics to ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Lead regular business reviews with vendors to assess performance, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (HR, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Compliance) to manage vendor relationships and resolve issues.
• Conduct audits and evaluations of vendor services, including user satisfaction and compliance to policies and standards.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and service enhancements using vendor spend and performance data.
• Support contract lifecycle management, including negotiations, renewals, and changes to scope or services.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies including Procurement, Finance, Quality Assurance, and Ethics & Compliance requirements.
