Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking an HR Supervisor in Georgia to oversee the daily operations of the Human Resources department, ensuring adherence to company policies and applicable laws. You will counsel managers on performance management, coordinate salaried recruitment in Workday, and guide employee relations across the organization.

The role requires leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to confidentiality and process improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years progressively responsible experience in the human resources field with emphasis on employment, employee relations, and/or benefits
• Demonstrated one (1) years’ leadership experience including knowledge of timekeeping requirements, policy adherence, conflict resolution and the ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively; experience supervising employees preferred
• Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbal and written, with internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner; ability to communicate in multiple languages preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
• Ability to work effectively with others, possessing tact and discretion and demonstrate a high level of confidentiality in all matters
• Must have strong computer skills: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, to format reports, presentations, spreadsheets, graphics, etc.; experience within HCM system such as Workday preferred
• Self-starter who demonstrates strong initiative and sense of urgency, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR department activities in compliance with policies and legal requirements
• Counsel managers on performance management; assist in corrective action documentation and sessions
• Advise managers on state/federal regulations and HR best practices for employee issues
• Coordinate recruitment for salaried openings including sourcing, screening and interviewing; ensure offers are made per procedures and in Workday; conduct new hire orientation
• Identify employee needs regarding performance problems, training options, and career development
• Provide HR-related training on performance counseling and employee relations
• Research employee complaints and grievances and take action for resolution
• Gather data and create reports (CERP, Retention) and communicate timely
• Administer NOCTI program including testing, recording scores, promotions and pay increases
• Identify opportunities for process improvement to streamline processes and increase efficiency
• Mentor and train/cross-train employees; provide consistent feedback
• Follow safety initiatives and PPE compliance to maintain zero accident culture
