Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking an HR Supervisor to lead the day-to-day HR operations, focusing on employment, employee relations, salaried recruiting and supervisor coaching. You will interpret and enforce company policies in line with federal and state laws and guide managers accordingly.

The role requires strong English communication, leadership experience, and proficiency with MS Office and Workday. On-site position in North Carolina with opportunities for process improvements and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
• Minimum two years of HR experience with employment, employee relations or benefits.
• Leadership experience including timekeeping, policy adherence and conflict resolution.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; multilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR department activities ensuring compliance with policies and laws.
• Counsel managers on performance management and documentation; conduct corrective action sessions.
• Advise on state and federal regulations for employee relations.
• Coordinate salaried recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers in Workday, and new hire orientation.
• Identify training, performance and career development needs and recommend actions.
• Provide HR-related training on performance coaching and employee relations.
• Investigate employee complaints and grievances and take corrective action as required.
• Prepare data reports (e.g., retention) and communicate findings timely.
• Administer NOCTI program including testing, scoring and pay increases.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Mentor and cross-train staff and provide feedback on strengths and areas for improvement.
