Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking an HR Supervisor to oversee daily HR operations, ensure compliance with policies and laws, and support salaried recruiting and employee relations.

You will counsel managers, coordinate recruitment in Workday, administer NOCTI program, and provide training on performance and employee relations while promoting safety and confidentiality.

Strong communication skills, leadership ability, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel are required to excel in this fast-paced role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline preferred.
• Combination of Education and experience may substitute for degree.
• Minimum two years in HR with emphasis on employment, employee relations, and/or benefits.
• Leadership experience and ability to supervise staff; strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR activities ensuring policy compliance and legal requirements.
• Counsel managers on performance management and documentation; conduct corrective action sessions.
• Coordinate salaried recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing and offers in Workday.
• Provide HR-related training on performance counseling and employee relations.
• Administer NOCTI program including testing, scoring, and promotions.
• Prepare and communicate HR reports and identify process improvements.
• Ensure safety initiatives are followed and confidentiality is maintained.
