Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking an HR Supervisor to oversee daily human resources activities, with emphasis on employment relations and salaried recruiting. The role reports to the HR leadership and supports managers with performance management, policy interpretation, and coaching.

Responsibilities include coordinating salaried recruitment, handling new hire paperwork in Workday, and providing training on HR policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred.
• 2+ years HR experience with focus on employment, employee relations, and benefits.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including policy adherence and coaching.
• Excellent English communication, written and verbal; multilingual skills a plus.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong computer skills and HR information systems experience (Workday preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR department activities ensuring compliance with policies and laws.
• Counsel managers on performance management; assist with corrective actions and documentation.
• Advise on state and federal regulations affecting HR practices.
• Coordinate salaried recruitment including sourcing, interviews, and on-boarding in Workday.
• Identify training and career development needs; provide HR-related training.
• Handle employee concerns and grievances; facilitate issue resolution.
• Prepare and report HR metrics (e.g., retention, compliance) to management.
• Mentor and train staff; support safety initiatives and PPE compliance.
