Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms seeks an HR Supervisor to oversee daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. You will counsel managers, coordinate salaried recruitment in Workday, and guide employee relations and performance management.

The role requires leadership experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook, plus familiarity with Workday. A Bachelor’s degree and a proactive, confidential approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years progressively responsible experience in the human resources field with emphasis on employment, employee relations, and/or benefits.
• One (1) years’ leadership experience including knowledge of timekeeping requirements, policy adherence, conflict resolution and the ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively; experience supervising employees preferred.
• Must have the ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbal and written, with internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner; ability to communicate in multiple languages preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
• Must have strong computer skills: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook; experience within HCM system such as Workday preferred.
• Self-starter who demonstrates strong initiative and sense of urgency, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day activities in the Human Resources department to ensure work is completed in compliance with company policies and procedures and all Federal, State and local legal requirements.
• Counsel and guide managers on performance management; assist with corrective action memos and sessions.
• Coordinate recruitment for salaried openings; ensure offers follow procedures and are in Workday; conduct new hire orientation.
• Advise managers on state and federal regulations and HR best practices.
• Identify training needs and career development opportunities for employees.
