Qualifications

• Two+ years of progressively responsible HR experience focusing on employment, employee relations, or benefits
• One+ year of leadership experience including timekeeping, policy adherence, and conflict resolution; supervising experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written English communication with internal and external customers
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize
• Discretion and high level of confidentiality in all matters; professional conduct needed
• Proficient computer skills: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook; experience with Workday preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR activities ensuring compliance with company policies and laws
• Counsel and guide managers on performance management measures
• Assist managers with corrective action memos and documentation
• Coordinate salaried recruitment including sourcing and interviewing
• Ensure offers comply with procedures and are recorded in Workday
• Conduct new hire orientation and explain policies and benefits
• Identify training and career development needs and recommend options
• Provide HR-related training on performance and employee relations
• Prepare data reports (e.g., retention) and share timely with stakeholders
• Promote safety initiatives and maintain a zero-accident culture
• Perform additional duties as assigned
