Job summary

Paychex is seeking a Sales Representative to grow the footprint in current clients and new business. You will self-generate leads, qualify opportunities, present Paychex solutions, and close deals while collaborating with HR Partners and field teams.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in B2B sales, strong presentation and prospecting skills, and a results-driven mindset. Base plus commissions, in a role that emphasizes relationship building and ongoing coaching.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree - Preferred.
• 3 years of experience in inside or outside B2B sales.
• 3 years of experience in Digital Media, Health Insurance, HR Services, Retail, Hospitality, Recruitment, Financial Services, Insurance, Marketing, Automotive, Information Technology, Professional Services.

Responsibilities

• Self-generate leads and prospect existing clients via phone and email daily.
• Review client data and prepare discovery meetings, uncover needs, propose Paychex solutions.
• Create proposals, follow up, discuss solutions and pricing, close deals.
• Meet with clients to review and negotiate agreements.
• Attend weekly team meetings and review performance and strategy.
• Collaborate with HR Partners to review sold accounts and plan next steps.
• Educate partners on HCM solutions, services and processes.
• Ensure timely submission of paperwork, expense and activity reports.
• Continuously sharpen sales skills to meet targets.
