Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an HR Representative to provide frontline support and handle employee inquiries with accuracy and efficiency. The role involves processing HR transactions, supporting onboarding and offboarding, and ensuring compliance across HR processes.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of HR or administrative/customer service experience and strong Workday proficiency, along with excellent communication and confidentiality skills to maintain sensitive information and deliver

Qualifications

• 1 year of HR or administrative/customer service experience.
• Must have onboarding experience.
• Strong experience with Workday.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Understands confidentiality, communication and customer service.
• Understands compliance.
• Displays conflict resolution skills and escalation of complex issues where needed.
• Documentation and updating HR records.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline support to colleagues with real-time, accurate responses to inquiries on HR policies, procedures and processes.
• Process employee transactions accurately based on research and guidelines.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes and support HR cyclical processes and compliance.
• Collaborate with HR team to ensure accurate processing of employee transactions.
• Deliver professional, efficient service and manage expectations to ensure satisfaction; escalate complex issues as needed.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and records for HR-related cases.
