Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an HR Representative to serve as front-line support for colleagues, providing real-time, accurate responses to inquiries about HR policies and processes. The role involves processing employee transactions and assisting with onboarding and offboarding activities.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of HR or administrative experience, strong customer service skills, and familiarity with Workday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of administrative or customer service experience.
• Proven HR experience preferred.

• Understanding of confidentiality and compliance in HR processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time, accurate responses to inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures and processes.
• Process employee transactions based on guidelines and research.Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Collaborate with HR team to ensure accurate processing of HR records and transactions.
• Deliver professional service, manage expectations, and escalate complex issues when needed.
