Job summary

Sentara Health seeks an HR Representative to serve as front-line support for colleagues, answering inquiries about HR policies, procedures, and processes. You will handle employee transactions, assist with onboarding and offboarding, and contribute to HR cycle activities with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

The role requires 1 year of administrative or customer service experience; HR experience is preferred, along with strong communication and confidentiality skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of administrative or customer services experience required.
• Human Resources experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Understands confidentiality, communication and customer service.
• Understands compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time responses to inquiries about HR policies, procedures and processes.
• Process employee transactions accurately based on guidelines.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes and HR cyclical activities.
• Collaborate with HR team to ensure accurate processing of employee transactions.
• Escalate complex issues and maintain documentation of HR cases.
