Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an HR Representative to provide frontline support for colleagues, answer inquiries, and process HR transactions with accuracy and confidentiality. You will assist onboarding and offboarding, support HR cycles, and collaborate with the HR team to maintain records.

You should have at least 1 year of administrative or customer service experience, preferably HR exposure, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of administrative or customer service experience required.
• HR experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Understands confidentiality, compliance and documentation of HR records.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time, accurate responses to inquiries on HR issues, policies, procedures and processes.
• Process employee transactions according to guidelines and employee information.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Support HR cyclical processes and ensure compliance considerations.
• Collaborate with HR team to ensure accurate processing of employee transactions.
• Deliver professional, efficient service and manage expectations to achieve high customer satisfaction.
• Escalate complex issues and maintain documentation for HR cases.
