Job summary

Ste. Michelle Wine Estates is seeking an HR & Payroll Administrator to manage high‑volume, multi‑state payrolls and related taxes for 850+ employees.

You will handle UKG Pro Payroll Back Office, Workforce Management, and Concur while ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws. Based near Woodinville, WA, you will split time between on-site and remote work as required and support HRIS activities, reporting, and benefits processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and five plus years of progressively responsible payroll experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with high-volume, multi-state payroll for 850+ employees
• Experience processing garnishments, child support orders, levies, and deductions
• Knowledge of payroll and general accounting principles, laws and practices
• Experience with UKG Pro Payroll Back Office, UKG Workforce Management, UKG Payment Services, and UKG Pro People Analytics (IBM Cognos)
• Experience with Concur is preferred
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• History of responsible conduct and fitness to be licensed

Responsibilities

• Payroll Administration: process biweekly, weekly, and multi-state payrolls for 850+ employees
• Enter and audit payroll data, track time/attendance, issue payments, and resolve issues
• Coordinate with third-party tax service provider for taxes and filings
• Respond to payroll questions from employees and partners
• Prepare reconciliations and journal entries for close activities
• Issue and maintain corporate cards and manage expense reports
• Review and process expense reports per T&E policy
• HRIS Administration: maintain UKG Pro and Workforce Management systems
• Create reports, support HR/Payroll/Benefits, and advise on system processes
