Job summary

Renasant Bank is seeking a Human Resources Representative to serve as a business partner to assigned units, handling recruitment, onboarding, employee data updates, and development while ensuring excellent customer service to current and former employees.

The role also covers affirmative action oversight, investigations, performance coaching, compensation administration, and regulatory compliance, with travel as needed and a focus on confidentiality and process excellence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree (or high school diploma or equivalent with additional years of directly related experience, above the minimum, will be considered)
• At least 2 years of Human Resources or banking experience
• Banking related experience is preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills
• Strong listening skills
• Able to maintain confidential information
• Advanced knowledge of Word and Excel
• Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
• Be flexible and able to interact with employee at all levels
• Be self-directed and motivated
• Ability to apply policies, procedures, and practical knowledge in dealing with employee issues
• Detail-oriented
• Organized and able to manage multiple deadlines
• Ability to travel, including overnight

Responsibilities

• Serve as a consultant and business partner in assigned business units on Human Resources issues
• Conduct recruitment for all exempt and nonexempt positions in a timely manner
• Serve as a liaison for the Bank at job fairs
• Check applicant references, employment history, and education
• Arrange additional interviews with management as necessary
• Notify applicants of acceptance or rejection
• Provide onboarding experience and ensure paperwork is complete
• Write job descriptions reflecting duties and responsibilities
• Oversee internal job postings for the units
• May prepare EEO-1, Vets-100, and affirmative Action plans
• Measure results of affirmative Action plans and develop improvement plans
• Analyze trends and metrics to reduce turnover
• Maintain understanding of positions and unit culture
• Partner with management to deliver value and meet business objectives
• Administer payroll, benefits, and timekeeping liaison
• Proactively manage and resolve employee relations issues
• Conduct investigations when necessary
• Provide coaching on performance and disciplinary actions
• Manage compensation program and equal pay analysis
• Manage performance appraisal process
• Develop employee offer letters
• Maintain organizational charts
• Become knowledgeable in Employee Benefits and Handbook
• Perform other related duties as assigned
