Renasant Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to deliver a best in class customer experience and proactive financial solutions. You will engage existing and prospective customers, act as their trusted financial advisor, and contribute to deposits, acquisition, retention, and partner referrals within the branch.

The role emphasizes service execution, sales execution, and operational excellence, with opportunities to participate in community activities and support branch operations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; college education preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year related customer experience and sales experience.
• Strong dedication to achieving sales, service and operational results.
• Ability to produce individual and team sales and customer experience results.
• Capable of handling customer financial needs with focus on priorities.
• Knowledgeable about financial services and local community to better serve customers.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail with accuracy in handling transactions.
• Comfortable using technology software to process transactions.
• Able to travel for training between branches as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive best in class branch experience across service, sales and operational excellence.
• Develop new and existing relationships to deepen customer engagement and drive deposits.
• Create daily plans to deepen relationships and execute service standards.
• Partner with Branch Manager to meet service, sales and operational goals.
• Model Renasant service standards in every customer and teammate interaction.
• Resolve customer issues by owning problems and coordinating with the bank.
• Maintain proactive self-motivation to achieve sales and service results.
• Identify additional needs during interactions and make appropriate recommendations.
• Work with other lines of business to strengthen and grow profitable relationships.
• Participate in community activities representing Renasant Bank.
• Provide back-up Teller or Head Teller support if needed.
• Ensure proper documentation for solutions and minimize documentation exceptions.
• Complete all account maintenance activities and stay current on regulations.
