Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking an experienced HR Operations lead to own complex, multi-state compliance and policy drafting. You’ll resolve payroll and benefits questions with hands-on judgment and help shape AI-driven HR processes.

You’ll drive the annual compliance audit, handbook refresh, and partner with Payroll/HR Admin teams to remove bottlenecks. This is a remote-first, full-time role with growth into daily HR ops leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on HR generalist experience across multiple states.
• Experience drafting policies and handling payroll and benefits.
• Comfort with AI-driven HR processes and tools.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-state compliance, policy updates, and implementation across classifications and pay ranges.
• Lead annual compliance audit and handbook refresh within first 90 days.
• Handle escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions with judgment.
• Review and unblock work of Payroll and HR Administration teams.
• Rearchitect HR ops with an AI-native mindset and processes.
• Grow into day-to-day HR operations ownership over time.
