Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking an experienced HR Operations professional to own multi-state compliance, policy drafting, and payroll/benefits questions. You will lead the annual compliance audit and handbook refresh, and mentor the Payroll and HR Administration team while rethinking HR processes with an AI-native mindset.

You should be hands-on, in-house, and ready to grow into day-to-day HR ops ownership over time, with a focus on practical judgment and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 2+ years hands-on HR generalist experience.
• Genuine in-house, multi-state compliance experience.
• Comfortable in a small, high-intensity team where you touch payroll, benefits, and compliance yourself.
• Excited to build with AI.

Responsibilities

• Multi-state compliance tracking and policy updates.
• Lead annual compliance audit and handbook refresh within your first 90 days.
• Escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions that need an experienced hand.
• Review and unblock the work of the Payroll and HR Administration team.
• Rearchitect HR ops processes with an AI-native mindset.
• Grow into ownership of day-to-day HR operations management over time.
