Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking an HR Operations Lead to own multi-state compliance, policy drafting, and payroll/benefits questions with hands-on accountability. You’ll drive the annual compliance audit, handbook refresh, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure policies are implemented across all employee classifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
At least 2 years of real, hands-on HR generalist experience.
Genuine in-house, multi-state compliance experience.
Comfortable in a small, high-intensity team handling payroll, benefits, and compliance.
Excited to build with AI.

Responsibilities

Own multi-state compliance, policy drafting and payroll/benefits questions.
Lead annual compliance audit and handbook refresh within 90 days.
Escalate payroll, benefits, and leave questions needing experienced guidance.
Review and unblock work of Payroll and HR Administration team members.
Rearchitect HR ops processes with an AI-native mindset.
