Jerry.ai is seeking an in-house HR Operations Lead to own complex, multi-state compliance, policy drafting, and payroll/benefits queries. This hands-on role requires practical experience in a small, fast-moving team and a bias for results over process.

You'll also shape how AI fits into HR ops, reducing busywork while ensuring accurate, compliant outcomes across the employee lifecycle. Remote-friendly with a path to higher ownership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on HR generalist experience.
• Real in-house multi-state compliance experience.
• Experience drafting policies and handling payroll and benefits.
• Comfort with AI-driven HR operations and process redesign.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-state compliance tracking and policy changes across employee classifications.
• Lead annual compliance audit and handbook refresh in first 90 days.
• Handle escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions.
• Review and unblock Payroll and HR Administration work.
• Rearchitect HR ops processes with AI-first mindset.
• Grow into day-to-day HR operations management over time.
