Job summary

Jerry.ai seeks an experienced HR Operations professional to own multi-state compliance, policy drafting, and payroll/benefits inquiries. You’ll work closely with Payroll and HR Administration, rearchitect HR processes around AI-native approaches, and progressively take on daily HR operations responsibilities in a fast-growing, remote-friendly environment.

• Hands-on, in-house HR generalist experience with multi-state compliance.
• Ability to draft and implement policies and handle payroll questions.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, small team and driving HR ops with judgment.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-state compliance tracking and policy updates across employee classifications and pay ranges.
• Handle escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions with seasoned guidance.
• Review and unblock work of Payroll and HR Administration teams.
• Redesign HR ops processes with an AI-native mindset and future-proofing.
• Grow into day-to-day HR operations ownership over time.
