Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• At least 2 years of real, hands-on HR generalist experience; you draft policies and handle payroll and compliance.
• Genuine in-house, multi-state compliance experience.
• Comfortable in a small, high-intensity team where you touch payroll, benefits, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Multi-state compliance: track law changes, draft policy updates, implement across employee classifications and pay ranges.
• Escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions requiring experienced hands.
• Review and unblock the work of Payroll and HR Administration teams.
• Rearchitect HR ops processes with an AI-native mindset and rethink how the function should work.
• Grow into ownership of day-to-day HR operations management over time.
