Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking an HR Operations professional to own multi-state compliance, policy drafting, and complex payroll/benefits questions. You’ll collaborate with Payroll and HR Administration to unblock processes and rearchitect HR ops with an AI-first approach.

You will influence daily HR operations and gradually take ownership of routine management as you grow with the team in a fast-paced, remote-first startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• At least 2 years of real, hands-on HR generalist experience, with policy drafting, payroll, and compliance filing responsibilities.
• Genuine in-house, multi-state compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Multi-state compliance: tracking state-by-state law changes and drafting policy updates.
• Escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions requiring experienced judgment.
• Reviewing and unblocking the work of Payroll and HR Administration teams.
• Rearchitecting HR operations with an AI-native mindset.
• Growing into ownership of day-to-day HR operations management over time.
