Job summary

Joe Anne Burgin Health and Rehabilitation, a Georgia-based non-profit, is seeking a full-time HR professional to support hiring, onboarding and benefits administration. You’ll work closely with center leadership to ensure compliance and a positive associate experience.

Responsibilities include processing hires and terminations, maintaining personnel files, conducting I-9s and background checks, coordinating orientation, and supporting timekeeping and HR reporting using Workday and other tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years HR experience with recruiting and onboarding.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR processes.

Responsibilities

• Processes new hires, status changes and terminations within defined timeframes.
• Completes I-9 processing, background checks and pre-employment screenings.
• Creates job requisitions and sources/reviews applications.
• Maintains personnel files and audits records for compliance.
• Coordinates onboarding and orientation for new associates.
• Assists with timekeeping and HR reporting.
• Supports labor regulation interpretation with center leadership.
• Attends morning meetings and collaborates with HR leadership.
