Waycross Health and Rehabilitation in Georgia seeks an HR Generalist to manage full cycle Human Resources processes for our center. You will handle onboarding, licensing verification, I-9, background checks, and new-hire setup while maintaining confidential personnel records in compliance with laws.

Role requires coordination with leadership, Recruiting, IT, and the Leave of Absence Coordinator to support staffing, retention, and HR compliance in a non-profit healthcare environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Or Associate’s degree with three years HR-related experience.
• Or a high school diploma or equivalent with five years HR-related experience.

Mansioni

• Processes new hires, status changes and terminations within defined timeframes.
• Completes I-9 processing, pre-employment background checks, drug testing, and reference checks for compliance.
• Creates job requisitions and sources/reviews applications.
• Verifies medical licenses and certifications as needed.
• Maintains personnel files in compliance with legal requirements and audits.
• On-boarding for all new associates and coordination with Recruiting and IT.
