Job summary

RXO is seeking a Generalist, Human Resources to support onboarding, engagement, and HR operations from our Chicago office. This on-site role collaborates with Learning & Development and a shared services team to drive effective people practices.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of HR generalist experience, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with HRIS (Workday preferred). The position offers $65,000–$70,000 annually and eligible bonus/commission potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 1 year of experience as a HR generalist or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of HRIS (Workday preferred) and Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding with Learning & Development to meet business needs
• Conduct exit interviews and capture trends for improvement
• Support HR data changes with a shared services team
• Assist in development and implementation of HR policies and procedures; analyze data in Excel
• Support a values-based culture and employee engagement activities
• Analyze employee feedback and lead roundtable discussions
• Lead local internship and employee development programs with HR team support
• Handle reasonable accommodation requests and site-level communications
• Assist with leader skip-level feedback and training compliance
