Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 1 year of HR Generalist experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience with FMLA/LOA and state and federal employment laws.
• Experience supporting employee relations and handling confidential information.
• Functional knowledge of payroll software, HRIS, and Microsoft Office.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to travel 25–50%.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Provide employee relations guidance to employees and management; respond with sensitivity to needs of employees and leaders.
• Oversee day-to-day HR transactions in collaboration with shared services.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws; update and communicate HR policies and procedures.
• Deliver benefits information and ensure fair, consistent application of policies.
• Investigate employee issues, incidents, and complaints; resolve disputes and recommend action.
• Support hiring managers with interviewing, offers, onboarding, and training logistics.
• Assist in developing and implementing HR programs or information.
• Support a values-driven environment through employee engagement initiatives.
