Job summary

Evans Global Aviation LLC seeks an experienced HR Generalist to support recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and HRIS processes across company locations. You will collaborate with HRBPs, managers, and payroll to ensure a smooth employment lifecycle and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes onboarding excellence, I-9 and E-Verify compliance, and effective employee communication. Strong organizational skills and hospitality-sector experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field or equivalent education, training and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources.
• HR-related experience with a large hourly employee population.
• HR-related experience in the hospitality sector (food services, hotel, country club, etc.).
• Verbal and written fluency in Spanish is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels.
• Knowledge of current federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work; manage multiple priorities.
• Discretion, confidentiality and good judgment in applying policies.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting and onboarding coordination including job postings, background checks, and I-9/compliance tasks.
• Process employment status changes and prepare staff letters for promotions and changes.
• Support benefits enrollment, open enrollment, and internal communications for morale.
• Create and maintain HRIS data, employee files, and reporting in collaboration with payroll.
• Coordinate post-accident drug testing and monitor driving records for applicable staff.
• Assist with audits, OSHA reporting, and insurance renewals in partnership with HR staff.
• Plan and execute in-office events, onboarding sessions, and employee engagement activities.
• Provide exceptional customer service to employees and document procedures for improvement.
