Job summary

Vse Aviation Inc (us) is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist in Venice, FL, to partner with the business on people-related matters, ensuring compliance and efficiency. The role covers policy, compliance, employee and labor relations, compensation, benefits, HRIS, performance management, and development.

Responsibilities include advising on policies, onboarding, investigations, EEO, and open enrollment; coordinating HR programs; and delivering training while maintaining accurate records

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related discipline or 3+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
• Five years’ HR experience supporting 150+ employees across multiple functions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HRIS, benefits enrollment systems, and payroll/timekeeping platforms.
• Knowledge of federal, state, local employment laws and compliance programs; ability to implement HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Advising on HR policies to align with business goals and ensure compliance; updating policies and communicating them to employees.
• Coordinating employee and labor relations policies, onboarding, performance improvement plans, and investigations of issues.
• Sourcing and coordinating open roles, posting requisitions, and coordinating background checks and onboarding; E-Verify and I-9 compliance.
• Advising employees on HR policies, conflict resolution, grievances, and corrective actions; auditing practices for improvement.
• Developing and delivering training programs, onboarding, performance management, and compliance education.
• Participating in goal setting and performance reviews; interpreting wage/salary policies; preparing job descriptions and compensation planning.
• Advising on benefits enrollment, union/SCA plans, and open enrollment; collaborating with benefits/payroll to resolve issues.
• Maintaining employee documentation, records, and HR analytics; generating reports and metrics.
• Other duties as assigned.
