Job summary

The Encompass Group is seeking an HR Generalist to manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations at our Irving, Texas location. You will oversee HRIS records, benefits enrollment, payroll support, and time tracking while collaborating with management on performance and training initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of HR generalist experience, a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, and a SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of progressive HR Generalist or HR Specialist experience (aviation, security, logistics, or high-volume industries preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for aviation support roles, including initial interviews and applicant tracking.
• Serve as the point of contact for employee inquiries and resolve workplace conflicts.
• Maintain compliance through accurate HRIS records and files.
• Assist with benefits enrollment, payroll queries, and time tracking.
• Support site management with performance evaluations and staff training initiatives.

Job description

• Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment for aviation support roles, conduct initial interviews, manage applicant tracking, and oversee badging/SIDA compliance checks and orientation.
• Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee inquiries, resolve workplace conflicts, conduct fair investigations, and maintain strong workforce engagement.
• Compliance & Records: Maintain accurate employee files and HRIS data.
• Benefits & Payroll Support: Assist employees with benefits enrollment and queries, partner with payroll to ensure accurate time tracking, leaves, and wage adjustments.
• Performance & Training: Assist site management with performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and staff training initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 2–5 years of progressive HR Generalist or HR Specialist experience (experience in aviation, security, logistics, or high-volume industries preferred).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Certifications: SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
