Equipment Depot Inc. in Fort Worth, TX seeks an HR Generalist to administer leave programs, manage accommodations, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws. The role also acts as a back-up for onboarding and oversees all terminations with COBRA administration as needed.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent experience, 3+ years of leaves and accommodations, strong regulatory knowledge, HRIS proficiency, and excellent organizational skills.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in managing leaves and accommodations.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, COBRA, HIPAA, ADA, and military leaves.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret and administer leave programs in accordance with applicable federal, state and local employment laws.
• Serve as the primary HR liaison for employees, managers, and vendors throughout the leave lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, workflows, decision trees, manager guides, employee FAQs and process documentation.
• Maintain close contact with employees and keep managers informed about leave status and expected return-to-work dates.
• Facilitate the return-to-work process for employees returning from FMLA, workers’ comp, or other leaves.
• Manage employee benefits while on leave and administer COBRA as needed.
• Back-up for new hire onboarding as needed.
• Manage all company terminations—documentation, systems process, and COBRA.
