Viskase Companies is seeking an experienced HR Generalist II to support a broad range of HR initiatives across the organization. This role partners with the Corporate HR team to administer and improve programs related to talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, training, compliance, and HR operations.

The HR Generalist II serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers, ensuring HR programs are delivered effectively, consistently, and in compliance with applicable employment

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience.
• Strong understanding of core HR functions and employment practices.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Aufgaben

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and desired competencies.
• Coordinate and complete pre-employment activities, including background checks, drug screenings, and Form I-9.
• Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a positive employee experience.
• Create, maintain, and audit employee personnel files and onboarding documentation.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee and manager inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
• Address routine employee relations issues and appropriately elevate complex concerns.
• Administer the company's tuition reimbursement program.
• Coordinate employee recognition and engagement initiatives.
