Job summary

Voyant Beauty is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to support the HR Manager in day-to-day operations, payroll processing, onboarding, staffing, and HRIS maintenance. The role fosters a pro-employee culture and ensures accurate records and program administration.

The position requires strong communication, organizational, and confidentiality skills, with knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. You'll engage in employee relations, training, and leave administration across locations.

Qualifications

• 3 years progressive HR experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 4 years HR experience without a Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Processes weekly payroll and administers health and welfare plans.
• Onboards new hires and completes required pre-hire documents.
• Assists with recruitment and staffing for non-exempt (and occasionally exempt) roles.
• Provides training on orientation, safety, and benefits.
• Explains policies and benefits to employees as needed.
• Maintains positive relations and handles coaching/discipline as appropriate.
• Manages attendance programs for hourly staff and leave (FMLA/STD/LTD).
• Supports HR program implementation at plant locations.
• Performs admin duties for the HR Manager.
