Highlight Motor Group USA Inc. is seeking a motivated Human Resources Generalist to support recruiting, onboarding, and compliance for drivers and transportation professionals in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage full-cycle recruitment, conduct interviews, extend offers, and coordinate background checks and onboarding while ensuring adherence to US federal/state laws (NJ and CA) and company policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred in HR or related field.
2–5 years of recruiting and HR experience.
Experience recruiting CDL drivers or transportation personnel preferred.
Experience in trucking, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain is a plus.
Knowledge of DOT hiring requirements and US state employment laws (NJ/CA).
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Manage HR and full recruitment lifecycle for drivers, operators, warehouse staff, mechanics, dispatchers, and office staff.
Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
Conduct phone and in-person interviews and coordinate with hiring managers.
Extend offers and negotiate compensation within guidelines.
Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates and ensure compliance.
Coordinate background checks, drug/alcohol testing, and MVR reviews.
Ensure applicants meet company safety and insurance requirements.
Communicate HR policies, benefits, and expectations throughout the process.
Maintain compliance with US state transportation and employment laws (NJ & CA).
Assist with onboarding logistics and benefits enrollment.
Maintain recruitment metrics and HR project support.
