Roadrunner Transportation Systems Inc. is seeking a proactive Driver Recruiter in Downers Grove, IL to own the full driver hiring lifecycle and keep a steady pipeline of qualified candidates aligned with safety and service standards.

You will manage high-volume communications, maintain accurate ATS/CRM records, coordinate onboarding with safety and orientation teams, and help strengthen retention by setting clear expectations and delivering timely updates in a fast-paced, metrics-driven

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in recruiting, sales, or high volume customer service (preferred).
• Proven ability to build rapport quickly over the phone and manage high volume communication.
• Strong organizational discipline with exceptional attention to detail and follow through.
• Ability to work within defined processes and maintain accurate, real time system updates.
• Comfort operating in a fast paced, metrics driven environment.
• Transportation or driver recruiting experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own the full driver hiring lifecycle from initial lead through orientation with speed and accuracy.
• Drive high volume communication and engagement with inbound/outbound calls and inquiries.
• Maintain operational excellence in systems and documentation in the ATS/CRM with real-time visibility.
• Coordinate onboarding and cross-functional handoffs with safety, background, and orientation teams.
• Strengthen driver retention through expectation setting and transparent communication.
