Job summary

Transdev in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an HR Generalist with a recruitment focus to join our team. The role supports management with full cycle recruiting, onboarding, and HR administration while upholding safety standards.

You will handle candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, new hire paperwork, and educate employees on benefits. The position emphasizes compliance, payroll coordination, and transfer support in a dynamic transportation environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years HR experience.
• College coursework in a related field preferred.
• Computer literate with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• DOT drug testing and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Full cycle recruiting responsibilities including reviewing new applications, scheduling and hosting interviews, and hiring candidates through Jobvite.
• Create and maintain employee files and onboarding paperwork.
• Manage driver and staff payroll and leaves of absence, including FMLA tracking.
• Educate employees on benefits provided.
• Quality assurance checks ensuring compliance with background checks, drug and alcohol screens, and E-Verify.
• Support employees with internal and external transfer requests and procedures.
