Job summary

Moss is seeking a Human Resources Field Coordinator to support our utility-scale solar projects. This on-site role partners with field leadership and hourly teams to deliver practical HR support across the employee lifecycle while ensuring a positive worker experience.

The position begins with about six months of remote work, then assignments on Moss project sites nationwide; travel or relocation may be required to support project needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR experience or related roles.
• Experience supporting hourly workers or field operations preferred.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and policy application.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with employees and leadership.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR contact for project sites and field teams.
• Partner with project leaders to address workforce needs and HR matters.
• Support onboarding, changes, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding and ensure smooth integration.
• Support payroll-related timekeeping reviews and attendance issues.
• Advise on HR policies and company programs; escalate complex matters.
• Maintain accurate HR records and support reporting/compliance.
• Collaborate on compliance initiatives, apprenticeships, and workforce projects.
