Target is seeking an Executive Team Leader HR to lead HR Experts and Team Leaders, focusing on building diverse talent strategies and supporting store leaders on the sales floor. The role emphasizes consulting peers, driving HR results, and influencing across organization levels.

You will oversee HR initiatives, coaching, and development while ensuring equitable experiences and inclusivity, contributing to Target’s guest-centric mission and store profitability.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong business acumen.
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
• Manage conflict, lead and hold others accountable.

• Strong cognitive skills: problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR strategy development and execution with the HR team.
• Read and interpret financial reporting to inform HR decisions.
• Recruiting, selecting, and talent management for hourly team members and leaders.
• Coach and consult with store leaders to grow the business and develop teams.
• Influence across levels and partner with hourly team members and senior leaders.
• Drive a guest-centric culture and high service standards on the floor.
• Develop leaders to champion diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
• Plan staffing, schedules, and onboarding to meet business needs.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and safe, ethical practices.
