Job summary

Amazon Indianapolis is seeking an HR Business Partner to provide HR generalist support to hourly employees and business leaders, focusing on talent management, employee engagement, and operational excellence.

The role partners with site leaders to drive data-driven HR initiatives, apply performance management and inclusive people practices, and may lead a small HR team while owning projects that improve the employee experience onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• 2+ years of human resources or equivalent (e.g., operations, customer service, retail, distribution, shipping/logistics, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing) experience.
• Experience supporting or leading employee-focused processes including onboarding, benefits, investigations, training or talent management.

Responsibilities

• Improve site effectiveness by identifying systemic patterns and ensuring fair policy application.
• Use data analytics to identify trends and drive site-level improvements.
• Execute and monitor employee engagement strategies and recognition programs.
• Coach leaders on people management and complex employee relations matters.
• Partner with leaders to ensure equitable talent practices across selection, development, and advancement.
• Drive adoption of HR technology solutions and AI to enhance user experience.
