Job summary

Dashiell in Houston, TX is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to support project management and control activities within the Engineering Department. This role reports to the Supervising Project Manager and helps ensure projects are executed on schedule and within scope.

You will facilitate creation of engineering cost schedules, coordinate procurement, manage subcontractors for high voltage substation and transmission line projects, and develop weekly dashboards to track progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related field.
• Three years of project management experience supporting engineering projects is required.
• Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is required.
• Prior project controls experience is required.
• Proven communication skills, both oral and written, to convey ideas clearly.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate creation of engineering cost schedules, coordinating procurement and managing subcontractors for high voltage projects.
• Support EPC engineering execution controls including forecasting, deliverables tracking, and change order management.
• Collect and validate FTE and cashflow forecasts; analyze trends and reforecasts with stakeholders.
• Align labor coding, accruals, and financial forecasts with Project Controls and Accounting.
• Manage engineering deliverables (IFA/IFC), baselines, progress, approvals, and dependencies.
• Monitor procurement readiness and ensure timely engineering inputs; resolve gaps.
• Develop and publish weekly performance dashboards; track planned vs. actual progress.
• Lead or support status reviews, maintain action logs, and coordinate cross-functional data.
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
