Job summary

Dashiell Corporation in Houston seeks an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the day-to-day HV electrical installation projects from pre-construction through completion.

You will lead safety, quality, scheduling, cost control, and field operations, coordinating with purchasing, engineering, and clients. Travel up to 100% may be required; a BS in CM/Science or EE/Civil with 10+ years in electric power is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management/Science, Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering with 10+ years in electric power construction.
• Experience in estimating, subcontracting, and scheduling EPC projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card if required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day construction activities of assigned high voltage electrical installation projects from pre-construction through completion.
• Provide direction in planning, scheduling, estimating, cost development, and establishing project objectives.
• Coordinate with purchasing to expedite materials per project schedule.
• Develop and manage client and subcontractor relationships based on project experience.
• Verify permits are secured per project requirements and review reports including budgeting.
• Collaborate with engineering to implement design changes in the field.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as required.
