Job summary

Dashiell is seeking a Project Manager in Austin, TX, to lead turnkey construction programs for high voltage substations, transmission and distribution lines. You will oversee scope, schedule, cost, safety and quality while coordinating with Purchasing and multiple project teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical or Civil Engineering and 10 years of relevant experience, with preference for Professional Registration. Travel to project sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil Engineering, or equivalent is required.
• 10 years experience in the design, construction, or operations of substations and/or transmission lines is required.
• 10 years of experience in the supervision/management of budgets and work groups is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of substations, substation control and transmission systems.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development, planning, execution, and monitoring of projects focused on turnkey construction of high voltage substations, transmission lines and distribution lines.
• Accountable for the cost, schedule, safety, quality and completion of construction projects.
• Coordinate work with Purchasing to ensure material is expedited and received for construction.
• Manage multiple project teams and prepare monthly cash flows, billing and change orders.
