Job summary

Dashiell Corporation, a Quanta Services unit, seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support turnkey high voltage substation and transmission projects in The Woodlands, TX. You will assist in planning, scheduling, cost control, and coordination across engineering, procurement and field teams.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Project Managers and Sales, development of estimates, and preparation of proposals while maintaining client communications and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Civil Engineering or Construction field.
• 3+ years of design, construction or operations experience in substations and/or transmission lines.
• 3+ years supervising budgets and work groups.
• Proven understanding of substations, transmission systems and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in reviewing cost, schedule, safety, quality and completion of projects.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to expedite materials for construction.
• Prepare and maintain cash flows, monthly billing, change orders.
• Create and maintain project schedules and progress reports.
