Job summary
LA Family Housing seeks a Housing Stabilizer to provide intensive case management to households transitioning out of homelessness. You will assess needs, develop goal plans, and coordinate with health, housing, and social services to support stabilization and independence.
Join a mission-driven nonprofit delivering housing solutions with trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and client-centered advocacy. This role requires collaboration across agencies and field-based work in the LA area.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of work history in related field.
- Experience with trauma-informed care and supportive housing preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide intensive, home and community-based case management and stabilization services.
- Develop individualized goal plans and maintain up-to-date client files.
- Coordinate with community providers to address housing, health, mental health, and income needs.
- Perform crisis prevention, intervention, and safety planning as needed.
- Attend trainings and participate in team meetings and agency projects.
