LA Family Housing is a leading nonprofit dedicated to ending homelessness through housing and supportive services. The Housing Stabilizer will deliver intensive case management, assessments, and coordination of housing, health, and income resources for households transitioning from homelessness.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and Housing First principles, with collaboration across local agencies to stabilize clients and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care, Harm Reduction and Housing First principles.
• Experience providing intensive case management and linkage to services.
• Ability to assess housing stability and coordinate health and income resources.

Responsibilities

• Engage households transitioning out of homelessness using trauma-informed approaches.
• Provide intensive case management including housing stabilization, budgeting, and linkages to services.
• Maintain accurate client files and documentation per agency standards.
• Coordinate with community partners to provide stabilization services and crisis intervention.
• Attend trainings and participate in team and community meetings.
