LA Family Housing is seeking a Housing Stabilizer to provide intensive, home and community‑based case management for clients transitioning out of homelessness. The role emphasizes trauma‑informed care, housing stabilization, benefits linkage, and collaboration with community partners to meet health, mental health, and income needs.

You will engage clients, assess needs, and create detailed goal plans while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• One year of work history and transferable skills.
• Strong documentation and data entry skills.
• CPR/First Aid Certification and TB clearance.
• Valide California Driver’s License and auto insurance.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage households transitioning out of homelessness using Trauma‑Informed Care and Housing First.
• Provide intensive case management: budgeting, benefits, housing stabilization, and referrals.
• Develop individualized goal plans and maintain up‑to‑date client files in agency records.
• Coordinate with landlords, evictions prevention resources, and community partners.
• Attend trainings and mentor new team members; participate in staff and community meetings.
